The spot we got engaged. Shelburne Farms is nonprofit education center for sustainability, 1,400 acres working farm, and National Historic Landmark on the shores of Lake Champlain in Shelburne, Vermont. Visit the farm animals or the Inn for a drink with lake views!
For anytime first time visitors to Vermont, we highly recommend getting a creemee here! (VT's version of soft serve) Try the maple or black raspberry.
Waterfront Park is located to the west of downtown along the Lake Champlain Shoreline. This park is home to several large music and food festivals, with the Burlington Bike Path running along its eastern border. The park is immediately adjacent to the Community Boathouse, the ECHO Museum, and Lake Champlain Sailing Center. We recommend getting a creemee or a cocktail at Splash at the boathouse before walking down the boardwalk.
