How will I get to the wedding? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Shuttles will be running from Fairfield Inn & a public parking lot located in Downtown New Buffalo. For detailed shuttle schedule & information, please refer to the travel tab. The venue is about a 6 minute drive from Downtown New Buffalo. Please be mindful, rideshare services such as Uber/Lyft can be scarce in the area.

Oh no! It looks cold on Saturday. What am I going to do to stay warm in my garden party attire?

Answer

No worries--we have been stressing about the weather for the last 2 weeks so you don't have to! We have a lot of measures we are taking to make sure no one is too chilly on the big day. We have patio heaters for cocktail hour, a heavy duty tent heater for the reception, and blankets for all the guests. A little cold will not stop the party!

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is garden party/cocktail attire. Dresses and jumpsuits are appropriate. Fun floral prints & pastel colors highly recommended. For men, a suit (no tie necessary) or dress pants and shirt.

Will the wedding take place inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony & cocktail hour will be outside. The reception will be outside under a tent. Michigan weather can be unpredictable. Be prepared for potential 50-60 degree weather in the late evening.

Do I have a date to the wedding?

Answer

Due to limited space at the venue, not everyone will be given a plus one. When you're able to RSVP, only those with "guest" listed will be able to bring a date to the wedding. We appreciate your understanding in advance.

What type of food is being served at the wedding?

Answer

We will be having a taco bar with many yummy sides. There will be vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Please kindly include any food allergies/intolerances with your RSVP.

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love kids, this will be an adult-only event. We would appreciate you finding a babysitter for the evening so you can have some fun!
