After turning him down on a date, my friends convinced me I needed to give him a shot, & I finally decided to go out with Hayden. We had a great time and slowly began to spend more time together. Bit by bit, he cracked through my shell, and I began to see what an incredible man he is. We both value God, our families, and friends. The longer we dated the more we realized we balance each other perfectly. He is strong where I am not, and vice versa. Fast forward to January 22. Hayden took me to the Church of the Cross, in Bluffton, which is a special place to us. He prayed over our relationship & then got down on one knee & asked me to marry him! I of course said yes!
