Creg and Hallie met in high school at a mutual friend's 16th birthday party back in 2015! By the end of the night, Creg had stolen Hallie's heart completely. It could have been his infamous salt and fork table trick that he performed at dinner that caught Hallie's eye or his charming personality that had Hallie thinking about him hours after he left. It only took a few months for both of them to become the closest of friends that then made Creg ask Hallie to be his girlfriend...the rest is bliss! After six years of dating through two homecomings, prom, four very quick years at Texas A&M University (Whoop!), summers at Sky Ranch, graduations, new jobs, and planting roots in the same city they both know and love, Creg and Hallie have been inseparable. They are two best friends in love.
With two Aggies graduating at the same time a joint graduation party was in the works, but Creg had other plans ;). Creg, with the help of some family and friends, asked Hallie if she'd like to spend forever with him under a beautifully lit gazebo in the town where they first met. It wasn't until Hallie opened her eyes and looked down to see Creg on one knee that she also saw the hundreds of red rose petals lining the path to the gazebo and surrounding both her and Creg. Over the last six years of dating, Creg had vowed to only buy Hallie red roses when the time came to ask her to be his wife, and seeing those for the first time made June 4th, 2021 that much more special! It wasn't until the initial happy tears were wiped away that Creg shared two things. One, that the ring box was handmade by his grandfather with their initials carved onto the front. Two, the meaning behind the pear shaped diamond...it was Hallie's late grandmother's from her wedding band :( Cue the water works again! They then were celebrated and loved on by their closest friends and family at their graduation turned engagement party later that night where many "finally" speeches and toasts were made. May 21st, 2022 can't come soon enough <3
