What’s up!! I’m grateful to call Benny my best friend and so excited to celebrate him and Hallie all together here soon! The joke is that our friendship started when Benny heard I was related to a famous college football coach and he was only trying to get to know me JUST to get to meet him. Haha but over time we have become very close friends and I honestly can’t imagine the last several years without him in my life. Some of the top memories include playing sports every day of the week together, late night deep conversations in the car, and cookout runs during college where I would often pay for his food to make sure he would eat enough. I appreciate Benny’s deep loyalty and commitment to his friends. His heart is full of care and strong passion for the Lord. Anyone who is around him long enough can’t help but feel special and grateful! I’m so proud and honored to be standing beside this incredible guy as he and Hallie start off this new season of life!

My name is Lola Johnston, I am a senior in high school and I love to hang with my fam, go to church, and hang out with my friends. My bestie si Hallie Johnston and I can't wait for her to be married !!! I love my dogs Betty and Bandit and I love the beach and going out to eat food. I also like going up north camping with my friends the Brysons and my family. The 4th of July is my favorite time of the year and all summer long is the best time!

Blurb: It was a rainy Tuesday, and I was watching Forrest Gump…and that’s when I knew I needed to join the U.S. Army. Nah, but seriously, my name is Connor, and I am attending the Army-Baylor physical therapy program down in San Antonio, Texas. I’ve known Benny since I was in middle school with my high rise spiky hair and him with a little bit of that Justin Bieber flow. This man Benny has been an amazing disciple, brother, and friend for so many years; it is incredible that even though so many seasons of life have happened for us both, God and His Word have kept us connected. And now, on this special wedding day, I have a huge smile on my face because my brother is about to be taken off the menu and live life with his beautiful, God-seeking, Anne Wilson singing bride, Hallie. I’m super excited and curious to see where God will take you both, especially with the spontaneity that flows tremendously in this relationship! I have no doubt, though, that this union will do unfathomable things for God’s kingdom, and I am grateful I can experience the fruits of it!

I’m Quentin, Benny’s twin brother. We’ve been together since before either of us could remember and have stayed as close as ever. We grew up, went to school together, and even found ourselves in the same city once our careers had started. And that very city is where Hallie entered Benny’s life. I am so happy that their meeting has now lead to something much more and I am honored to share in this celebration with my brother. I look forward to standing at his side when the two of them get married and can’t wait to be a part of ushering in a new stage of my own twin brother’s life.

The summer of 2021 began as one of the hardest seasons of my life, full of transitions and very little knowledge on how to navigate it. Enter Benny Ford. The Lord sent one of the greatest men on the planet to come in my life and bless it with his presence. We watched kids movies, made banana bread, played disc golf, goofed around, and served others together. I am an outwardly simple guy with more emotions, passions, and dreams than I can handle. I love music and soccer and I am married to an amazing woman of God. Benny has encouraged, listened, prayed and simply been here for me, impacting nearly all those areas of my life. I am incredibly thankful to be part of his special day!

The Lord works in the best ways. Benny and I met when he came to our church as an intern in our missions department. Benny and I quickly connected and formed a great friendship, which ultimately led to me hiring him as the guy lead at our church. Benny has been such a blessing in my life and the life of my family. I honestly believe Benny was my daughter’s (2) first crush. He has stewarded our relationship so well, and I am honored to stand by him on such a major day in his life.

When I think if Hallie a few words initially come to mind. Genuine, kind, light, and fun are a few of those words. When I first met Hallie through being a co-worker of Benny I thought to myself, "wow, I want more people like her in my life" and I made it a goal of mind to get to know her better. A friend ship easily formed between us and I am so appreciative that an amazing woman like Hallie Johnston is in my life. She is always down for a good time, down to worship lead with me, or to just sit down and have a real conversation about life.
