We're getting married!

Our story began a couple months before our high school graduation in 2021. We met through mutual friends, and a little matchmaking chain of events followed—Hallie mentioned that Arwind was cute, the word made its way through our friends, and eventually found its way back to Arwind. Not long after, we started dating in June of 2021. At the end of the summer, we headed off to college—just about 40 minutes apart, with Hallie at Drake University and Arwind at Iowa State University. Even with the chaos of college life, late night studying, busy soccer schedules, and a lack of cars to travel back and forth, we always found a way to see each other. Weekend visits and FaceTime calls together became some of our favorite memories. After graduating college in 2025, life took us in different directions—Arwind moved to Kansas City for work while Hallie had a job back home in Cedar Rapids. Navigating long distance only made our connection stronger. In December of 2025, Arwind proposed on a beautiful Florida beach. In February of 2026, after 9 months of long distance, we finally closed the gap and began building our life together in Kansas City.
