FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Ceremony: Indian attire is encouraged but not required. Please be mindful of the temple setting and dress conservatively. Keep in mind that guests will be seated on the floor, so wearing a dress or skirt is not recommended. Head coverings must be worn by all guests in the gurdwara and shoes must be removed. We will provide head coverings upon arrival for those who do not have one. Please reserve the colors red and white for the bride and groom. If you have questions or need guidance on what to wear, please reach out to the bride and/or groom. Reception: The dress code is semi-formal. We suggest Indian attire or cocktail dresses for women, and suits (tie optional) or Indian attire for men.

Question

Will transportation be available to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will have two shuttles available to bring guests to and from the ceremony. The shuttles will pick up guests in front of the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel and will depart the hotel at 7:30am on Saturday. The shuttles will leave the gurdwara at 2:00pm to return to the hotel.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be free parking available at the gurdwara for the ceremony. Paid parking will be available at the hotel at a 50% discount to guests for the reception. Parking validation will be provided at the reception to receive the discount.

Question
