Walk around Green Lake! Located in north Seattle, Green Lake is a popular spot for a beautiful 2.8 mile loop walk. There are also many local coffee shops and restaurants along the way.
Take the ferry from downtown Seattle and visit where Hallie grew up! Walk from the ferry terminal through Winslow Way, Bainbridge's cute downtown. Stop for an ice cream at Mora Iced Creamery where Hallie had her first job at 16!
Check out Seattle's brewery scene in Ballard! There are over a dozen breweries walking distance from each other, most with a food truck outside. Enjoy Washington hops and delicious local cuisine.
Stop by Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle to watch fish being thrown, stick gum on the gum wall, visit the original Starbucks, and over 225 local artisans selling their wares.
Visit the century-old Ballard Locks, where you can watch the water levels rise and lower to create a “boat elevator” for boats and even kayaks passing between freshwater lakes and the salt water of Puget Sound. The on-site botanical garden and fish ladder are also worth a visit.
