Here are some of our favorites: - Hops on the Hill (Glastonbury): bring your own food and enjoy the weather in an open-air barn or just sit outside at one of their seating areas - Alvarium (New Britain): many different beer options with rotating food trucks - New Park Brewing (West Hartford): a small brewery near our home with good food and good beer - Kinsman Brewing (Milldale): Many different beer varieties and good food!

Sleeping Giant State Park
Sleeping Giant has 40 miles of trails through the CT woods. It is one of the most popular state parks in CT and gets its name from the outcrops and ridge crests of the ancient magma give the “Sleeping Giant” a distinct “head,” “chin,” “chest,” “hip,” “knee,” and “feet.”
