FAQs

The Wedding Website of Halli Henwood and Sam Naylor
We’ve included a few questions and answers we think might be helpful or commonly asked. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, feel free to text Halli at 435-862-0038—I’m happy to help!
Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! There will be plenty of food and desserts, plus water and non-alcoholic drinks. We’ll also have some light alcoholic options available—beer, wine, champagne, and a few seltzers—during our open bar cocktail hour from 5:00 PM to around 9:45 PM. If the alcohol options we’re providing aren’t really your thing, you’re welcome to bring your own beverage(s) if you’d like. Just please note that due to venue rules, any outside alcohol must stay in your car or hotel room (Or give it to the bartender to serve you while he is there, venue rules are you can't open your own and it must be served to you by the bartender). Bringing your own drinks for before or after the event is totally optional.

Question

Will there be kids allowed?

Answer

Yes, absolutely! Kids are more than welcome, and we’d love for you to bring them along for the fun. There’s plenty of space for them to run around, plus a playground and basketball courts to help burn off some energy. We’re also setting up a special “kid zone” on the mezzanine with activities to keep them entertained. And of course, there will be kid-friendly food and drinks available too! Important note for those bringing kids: There is an active railroad near the venue. While trains don’t pass through every day—usually just once a day and often earlier in the day—it is active. Please be extra cautious and keep a close eye on your little ones at all times.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP no later than May 4th, 2026.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We’re lucky to already have a cozy home full of everything we need, so we won’t be doing a traditional registry. Instead, we’ve set up a honeymoon fund to help us take a fun, much-needed adventure after the wedding! Gifts aren’t expected, but any contribution would make us so happy.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Nope, we’re not going to tell anyone what to wear! (And if you’re wondering—like I would be—our color palette is pretty neutral: tans, browns, sage greens etc.) But really, wear whatever makes you feel great!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Our venue, Iron Springs Resort, offers hotel rooms, cabins, and RV pads for guests. If you mention you’re with our wedding on 06/04/2026 when booking, you’ll receive 15% off your stay!

Question

How do I book a room at the venue?

Answer

For an extra 15% off, give the venue a call directly at (435) 708-0101 and let them know you’re with our wedding party. However, if you find a cheaper room online, feel free to book it through that site—no need to call the venue in that case!

Question

How far in advance should I book my stay?

Answer

I recommend booking months in advance since it’s a busy season for Southern Utah—and for weddings! Rooms can fill up quickly. I’m working to get everything planned early so everyone has plenty of time to secure their spot. It’s first come, first served!

Question

Is there a minimun nights stay for the venue?

Answer

If you decide to stay at Iron Springs Resort (our venue), there’s no minimum stay required—you can book just one night if you’d like, unlike some Airbnbs that might require a full weekend. But if you want, feel free to turn it into a mini vacation and stay with us for the whole weekend!

Question

Do I need to pay for a room now or do I have time?

Answer

You can reserve a room at the venue’s hotel without paying until check-in, so you can book whenever it’s convenient. (consider sooner then later to make sure you get a room!) Just a heads-up that this policy may not apply to other nearby hotels if you decide to stay elsewhere.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our invitations will specify exactly who is invited, but if there’s someone we might have missed or you’re unsure about, please reach out to Sam or Halli to confirm. This helps us keep the guest list and headcount accurate—it's really important we don’t have any surprise guests so we can make sure there’s enough food and drinks for everyone!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Since the venue is a hotel, there’s a large parking lot available—and parking is free, whether you're staying at the hotel or just coming for the celebration!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 3:45 PM. You don’t need to arrive super early, but we’ll be at the venue all day, so you’re welcome to come hang out beforehand! Just keep in mind that if you arrive early, things may still be getting set up and decorated. Closer to the ceremony time, everything should be mostly finished. As long as you’re seated by 3:45, feel free to show up whenever works for you! (Just a heads-up—food likely won’t be out until around 5 PM when our welcome hour begins.)

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes—please let Sam or Halli know about any allergies so we can make sure to accommodate everyone.
