Andy: It was a cold night in December, the day after Christmas. Andy, having spent the holidays in New York, went to the local pub alone with nothing more than a pen and a handful of napkins he had taken from the bar. As always, he was drawing. It was not long into the night that a beautiful woman, accepting her friend's dare, took a seat next to him. "What are you drawing?" she asked. He showed her the napkins of doodles. She took the pen out of his hand and started drawing too. "What is your name?" he asked. The beautiful woman said, "Halli." And the rest is history, for they proceeded to drink heavily into the night.
Halli: I was having a horrible day when Andy came home after work. He suggested we go for a walk, so we strolled around our neighborhood and ended up in a small private garden accessible only to locals. It was a perfect night, clear, not too hot or too cold. We sat on a bench and looked up at the sky and talked about how much we loved each other. I told Andy all I wanted was to be his wife, for him to ask me. "Right here, right now?" He said. Then he got on one knee and told me beautiful things and asked me to marry him. Since it was spontaneous all Andy had was his key ring- so we used that for an engagement ring!
