How we met:
Logan and Emma both grew up in Minnesota, 2nd oldest of large families. They attended Chesterton Academy (Logan was a sophomore, Emma freshman), and had only bumped into each other once during Phy Ed. After highschool, Logan went to UMary Bismarck, and Emma went to Dunwoody Tech College.
In 2023, they found each other on Hinge, a dating app. Logan messaged first, and Emma recognized him, so they went out for a movie date (Suzume). After 3 more fun dates, Logan asked Emma what she would think about him asking her to be his girlfriend. "Well, you haven't asked me yet!" Then he did and she said yes.
They both enjoy video games, exploring new places and foods, plenty of road trips to friends with funny podcasts and building lego sets together.
They dated a year and 4 months until Logan popped the question in front of Beaver River Falls on a day trip along the North Shore. Emma cried a lot (tears of joy) and said yes. Her engagement ring is an orange sapphire.
