We're getting married!

We took one look at each other in high school gym class and the rest is history. No but really, we've been best friends since and it's been an amazing journey of growing with each other through all the different phases of life and coming into our own identities.

At this point we were 9 years in and I guess you could say it was just a waiting game :) Usually Riley can't ever surprise and I knew that when he did, I would know... but he truly did surprise me this time. We planned a quick trip to Hawaii to stay in Betsy's apartment while she was out of town. We had just traveled to Colorado like the week before. We then traveled to Kauai, a small beautiful island of the other Hawaiian island after a week into our trip. Riley had been begging me to go on this one specific hike for like 3 days now and I finally gave in.This Hike was on the Kalepa Ridge trail. Its this insane hike along the ridge trail of a huge mountain on Kauai. It was cloudy that day probably for the best because you look down and its a 4000 ft to the bottom. Anyways when we got to the edge of the cliff, he got down on one knee and the rest is history. I don't know how he pulled it off but it was the best day of our lives and a moment we'll never forget!
