Our forever starts here.

Dean and Halley met at Marian University in Fond Du Lac, WI. Dean played hockey, and Halley formerly played volleyball through the school's sports programs. They met through mutual friends at the time. Halley's roommate, Allison met Dean first. She came home one day and told Halley proudly "I met your husband!!" Little did she know, she was right! The first night they met, Dean played "Just Dance" and totally won Halley over with his dance moves! Dean and Halley hit it off right away, and spent quite a bit of time together over the next couple months before he returned home.

Dean then returned home for the summer of 2022, and the two remained close friends. They talked everyday, whether it was a phone call, a Facetime, or text messaging. Dean suggested that Halley should come visit him and drive back to Wisconsin with him. She quickly got her passport, booked her flight, and spent a couple of days meeting Dean's family and friends.

Dean and Halley spend the year spending time together, meeting each other's families, and making their first "couple friends". They also did a lot of "studying" to further their education at their favorite bar in Fond Du Lac, Korneli's with their roommates and best friends, Ben and Baz.

Dean and Halley spent the summer apart, Dean in Canada, Halley in Wisconsin. They were able to share a fun two weeks together in August of 2023 with Halley's friends in Wisconsin, and took a trip to see Dean's friends in Vegas (we know where we're NOT going for our honeymoon) !

Dean and Halley got engaged on December 23rd of 2023, just shortly after Halley graduated from Marian University. Their friends, Logan and Aleisha, helped Dean plan the proposal and it was PERFECT! *side note- Dean dumped Halley off the snowmobile minutes before the proposal... :)

After a long road, we were finally given the approval we needed to start our lives together. Dean moved to Wisconsin in December, and we were married on January 17, 2025. We cannot wait to celebrate our marriage under God with all of you.
