Halleigh and William’s story began in 2020 at University of Wisconsin–Platteville, just after classes resumed in person following COVID. Halleigh had recently transferred and was stepping into a brand-new chapter, not knowing it would lead her straight to William. What started as a simple meeting at just the right time quickly grew into something much more meaningful. Between classes, late-night conversations, and shared laughs, they found in each other not only a best friend, but a partner for life. From that very first chapter, their relationship felt easy, genuine, and full of joy. They supported each other through the ups and downs of college life, creating memories that would lay the foundation for everything to come. Whether it was studying side by side, exploring new places, or simply enjoying each other’s company, they knew early on they had found something special. Their love has also been tested—and strengthened—by distance. Not once, but twice, they navigated the challenges of long distance, learning how to stay connected across miles, time zones, and busy schedules. Through phone calls, visits, and a lot of patience, they proved that no matter the distance, their bond only grew stronger. Those seasons apart made every reunion sweeter and reinforced what they already knew: they were meant to do life together. Since then, their love has only continued to deepen with each passing year. Through every milestone and adventure, they’ve kept choosing each other—building a life rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering support. Now, as they prepare to say “I do,” Halleigh and William are so excited to celebrate the next chapter of their story with the people they love most. 💍
