Halle and Michael shared their first date at Yard House in The Battery Atlanta, where their love story began. They proceeded to get to know one another, hitting it off almost instantly. Shortly after, they both realized that Halle's best friend was in Michael's sister's wedding. Small world!

Michael proposed to Halle at The Read House in Chattanooga. She was under the impression that they were going on a double date with Michael's sister and her husband to a steakhouse downtown. Their families surprised her for a combined family dinner afterwards! Michael put a lot of work into making this day extra special.
