It all started at Roxie’s Bar. Not exactly where you’d expect to find forever, but God writes stories in the most unexpected places. I (Halle) was the one who said hello first—Cooper had just paid me into a game of 3s Away, and from there, it just… clicked. We both instantly felt like we were talking to someone we had known forever. Cooper says his first thought was, “Wow, this girl is really amazing—and a real person.” We spent the night laughing, teasing each other, and realizing we shared something different: this wasn’t just fun—it was meaningful. Our first real time together was a day at the lake, and everything about it felt natural and easy. It’s hard to describe, but we both knew, even from that very first day, that this was something we wanted long-term. That kind of knowing only comes from God. Since then, we’ve learned that everything is more fun when we’re together—whether we’re on the road, out at rodeos, in the kitchen, or just enjoying a quiet moment. Cooper’s love for God and the way he leads with faith has been one of the biggest blessings in my life, and our relationship is built on that strong foundation. We’re so grateful for the way God brought us together, and we can’t wait to begin this next chapter surrounded by the people we love most.
