Denver International Airport offers the most flights into Colorado from across the U.S. and is approximately two hours from Vail (100 miles). Epic Mountain Express (noted below) provides shuttle service from the airport to Vail. Please note that Friday afternoon mountain traffic can be heavy. If you plan to attend the Welcome Party, we recommend allowing an additional two hours for travel from Denver.

Approximately 30 minutes from Vail, this airport is the most convenient in terms of proximity and location. Multiple transportation options are available from the airport for the short trip to Vail, including shuttle services and rental cars. Please note that Uber availability can be inconsistent from this airport, so you will likely need to use a shuttle or rental car.
Travel Note
The most popular shuttle service offers transportation from Denver International Airport and Eagle County Regional Airport to Vail and Beaver Creek. With shuttles departing Denver Airport every hour, this is the most convenient transportation available. Epic Mountain Express also offers private shuttle options and premier black SUVs.
Travel Note
We are beyond excited to celebrate with you in the beautiful state of Colorado! You’ll be staying at an elevation above 8,000 ft while in Vail. Here are a few tips to help you acclimate to the higher elevation so you can fully enjoy the wedding weekend activities! • Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Begin drinking plenty of water 2-3 days before your arrival in Colorado and continue to do so throughout your stay. • Plan to arrive 1-2 days before the big day to allow your body to adjust gradually to the significant increase in altitude. • Alcohol will affect you more quickly. Two or three drinks at high altitude can feel like four or five at sea level.
