The Katy Trail
We love walking the Katy Trail, and there are trailheads conveniently located right by our venue. It’s one of our favorite places in Missouri, and we actually got engaged along the Missouri River after hiking the trail! If you have extra time during the weekend, it’s a beautiful spot for a walk, bike ride, or scenic views of the bluffs.
Downtown Rocheport
Downtown Rocheport is a small, charming area filled with historic buildings, local shops, and peaceful river-town vibes. It’s perfect for a relaxed stroll, grabbing a coffee or ice cream, or exploring the antiques and boutiques. If you want a quiet moment before the festivities, this little town is a lovely place to wander and soak in the scenery.
Columbia
Just minutes from Rocheport, Columbia offers plenty to explore if you’re spending the weekend. Enjoy great local restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and the vibrant downtown area near Mizzou’s campus. Columbia also has beautiful parks, trails, and a lively arts scene. It’s an easy place to find something fun to do—whether you’re looking for a good meal, a little shopping, or a relaxing way to pass the afternoon.
Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area
Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area offers stunning views of wetlands, wildlife, and the Missouri River. It’s especially known for birdwatching and its picturesque overlooks—perfect for sunset photos. If you enjoy nature or want a scenic drive, Eagle Bluffs is a gorgeous place to explore during your stay.
Stephens Lake Park
