It’s FINALLY happening!

Let’s go back to 2013, in Greenville McDonalds, where a teenage girl was working her first job and her boss’s son was working his first job. They secretly had a whole lot of crushing going on but definitely did not tell each other that. A few years, learned experiences, and failed relationships later…the girl moved back to town and returned to her old job. The boy and the girl had the same friend group which led them to become friends. That friendship led to the boy inviting the girl to his brothers wedding. Later that evening he asked the girl to be his girlfriend, and 5 years later...He asked her to marry him!!!! Of course she said YES! Now, we all get to celebrate the marriage of Halle & Cody together on October 15,2022!

May 15, 2021 Cody and Halle attended a family gathering at Halle’s Great Aunt Frances’s house. Halle was told to gather everyone into the living room to say the blessing before everyone ate their meal. Once everyone was in the living room Frances announced that she was going to do something a little different this time. She then proceeded to tell everyone that she was going to have Cody pray this time. This instantly shocked Halle so much that she exclaimed “Oh, no!” as she was extremely nervous for him. As she was stressing about it he was turning to get in front of her and down on one knee. He asked Halle to marry him and she responded first by stating how she finally understood why everything was the way it was that whole day. Then she said YES!! And the rest is history.
