We're Getting Married!

We had gone to Malones in Palomar with my family since my brothers were in town from St. Louis. I never get to see them so Eric knew how excited I was that they were visiting. After we finished our meals we ordered dessert. Right after we put our dessert order in, the waiter came and placed a fancy covered plate in front of me. I was very confused and looked at Eric like, "why is this in front of me?" He said, "just open it and see what it is." At that moment I lifted the lid off and saw the Neil Lane box on the plate and immediately looked over at him. He was already on his knee as he picked up the ring box. I was crying, he was crying and all I can remember is hearing my family say, "Did you know about this?" to each other. Obviously, I said yes a million times and then we received a restaurant wide applause while all the waiters stood around and watched.
