Our first date was February 9, 2020. We met at Guthrie’s Tavern on Addison St, and had a magical night of drinks and board games. From then on, we were smitten. Despite spending two months apart during the pandemic, we kept in contact and watched Netflix together remotely. We took our first trip together to Zion National Park in January 2021. The trip brought us closer together, and we decided in August 2021 to be as close as possible. We moved in together August 26, 2021. One year later, Cooper came home frantically and told Halina she had to help him with a “big audition.” We got dressed up, set up the camera and blue screen, and he asked her to marry him. She said yes! After nearly three years of being engaged and over five wonderful years together, we are so excited to finally be husband and wife. We can’t wait to see you at The Howard!
