Wedding Party

Caitlin Blaeuer

Maid of Honor

We met about 16 years ago at a party when I was drawing a dog and she came up to me, we instantly hit it off and even realized we owned the same shirt. From that moment on, we were inseparable. We lived together, became adults together, went on trips, danced at festivals, got to know each other’s families, and supported each other through every high and low. Caitlin is fun, incredibly smart, loyal to her core, and a huge movie buff! She is the kind of friend who makes life brighter and more interesting just by being in it. She’s now a super cool comedian, and even though we live far apart, we still talk every single day. Our friendship has shaped so much of my life, and our bond is truly unbreakable.

Erica

Bridesmaid

I’ve known Erica for a long time- since I was around 21. We worked together and instantly clicked, and even when we ended up at two different jobs, our bond just kept growing. From bonfire nights and parties to dog walks and game nights, we’ve made so many great memories over the years. Erica is one of the funniest people I know and has an incredibly big heart, and I’m so grateful to have her as part of this day.

Kellie

Bridesmaid

Kellie is one of those friends who makes every day brighter. We’ve shared game nights, bachata dancing, countless climbing sessions, walks on the greenway, movie nights, and so many adventures exploring cool spots around Nashville. She’s fun, supportive, genuine, and I’m so happy to have her as part of our wedding party. Even after moving away, our bond is strong and I’m so lucky for our friendship and excited to make more memories over the years.

Franki

Bridesmaid

Franki and I have shared so many memories since my early twenties. Even though we’ve lived in different places for the past ten years, we always pick our friendship right back up like no time has passed. She’s hilarious, makes everyone around her feel good, and is one of the coolest and strongest women I’ve ever met. Franki is truly unique and has a way of making everyone feel special, and I’m so grateful to have her standing with me.

Hannah

Bridesmaid

I’ve only known Hannah for a few years, but our friendship was instant. I knew the moment we met that she would be a fantastic friend- and I was absolutely right. She is loyal, fun, smart, and the most incredible mom to her son, Atlas. The world is genuinely better with her in it. When I found out I was pregnant, she was there for me with wisdom, advice, and the most genuine support. We’ve made so many meaningful memories in such a short time, and I’m so grateful to have her as a close & lifelong friend.

Mukkades

Bridesmaid

Mukkades is Halil’s sister and my future sister-in-law, and she has the most amazing heart. She is genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met! She is selfless, smart, caring, and endlessly kind. I feel so lucky to have her not only as family, but also as a friend. We had an instant bond from the very beginning, and I’m so excited to grow together and share all the memories ahead.

Greg Blaeuer

Officiant

Greg is not only our officiant, but also Caitlin’s dad! He is someone I’ve been lucky to know for over 15 years. He’s watched me grow into the person I am today, and having him guide us as we exchange our vows means the world to me. Greg is cool, artsy, thoughtful, and truly a great person. I’m eternally grateful to have him play such an important role in our wedding.

Charlie Cash

Father of the Bride

My dad is the strongest man I’ve ever known. He has always been there for me, keeping me safe, supporting me through every season of life, and giving me the best childhood and foundation I could have hoped for. He’s the person I turn to for advice, wisdom, and steady guidance. I love my dad so much, and I am forever grateful to have him walk me down the aisle on my special day.

Monika Cash

Mother of the Bride

My mom has always been my best friend and my constant support through every moment of my life - through the good, bad, happy, or sad. She’s the person I turn to for comfort, laughter, guidance, and love. She is funny, goofy, loyal, and incredibly caring, and she makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have a mom like her. I’m so grateful to have her with us on our big day.

Charlotte

Flower Girl

Our flower girl is smart, funny, and absolutely bursting with sweetness. She is my tiny best friend! She has the biggest heart and the brightest smile, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her sprinkling petals and spreading joy on our big day. She’s going to make the cutest flower girl, and we just know she’ll steal the show with her giggles, charm, and endless energy. We can’t wait to see her little footsteps lead the way down the aisle!

Anette

Mother of the Groom

Anette is selfless, warm, and loving, with a brilliant mind and an even bigger heart. She has made me feel endlessly welcome in the family, and I’m so lucky to have such an amazing mother-in-law. Her love, care, and support mean the world to me, and I’m grateful to celebrate this special day with her!

Jojo Tuncel

Best Man

Jojo and I have known each other for over 25 year-pretty much our whole lives. We basically grew up in each other’s homes. I know his whole family—his mom, dad, sister, and his grandmother, God bless her, who always cooked for us when we were kids, and he knows mine. Jojo lived just one street below me, which was very convenient for our friendship. We sometimes went different ways but always found our back to each other. What I appreciate most about him is how loyal, caring, and thoughtful he is. He is true to himself- a truly authentic character. While we share the same values, we are completely different and always knew it: he tends to think a lot, and I don’t think at all. He has a German name but speaks Turkish, I look Turkish and have a Turkish name, but don’t speak it at all. We always say how one should be a bit more like the other- that would be nice. And somehow being friends does that for us! I’m incredibly grateful to have him by my side all these many years. I’m proud that he’s my best man, and I hope we’ll just continue this all the way to the end!

Julian

Groomsman

I’ve known Julian for nearly 20 years-since I was a young teenager. Funny enough, he actually knew my sister before he knew me. Julian is also like a brother to me. For many years he was basically living at my place, and my whole family sees him as one of our own. One of the things I appreciate most about him is that he’s an incredible listener. You can talk to him about anything- he truly hears you. He’s a great friend, reliably himself, warm-hearted, and someone I can always count on. A funny note: on every party occasion, he somehow manages to be both the first man down and the last man standing. Or at least before he got old - ha. I’m lucky to have him with me on this big day.

Timo

Groomsman

Timo moved to Heideheim and joined my school class in the 6th grade. We had a love-hate relationship at first: fighting every day at school, then hanging out after school. People must have thought “what weirdos” but it worked for us. Over time we overcame the hate and it grew into a deep, lasting friendship. Timo is incredibly smart. In school, I always admired his talent as a writer, he was also good in maths & physics- I mean if he would have studied haha. However, still lucky enough for me I was able to sit next to him and copy his tests - so thanks for the good marks! He’s also one of the most well-read people I know; when he was young, he read his favorite book, Eragon, eight times. Can you imagine. Our friendship has been transformative, and I’m very happy to have him in my life and don’t ever want to miss him there.

Raphael

Groomsman

My friendship with Raphael also goes all the way back to first grade-I’ve known him for so many years that it feels like he’s always been part of my life. We have a very special relationship. With Raphael, you can have some of the best, most intellectually stimulating conversations. He knows a lot about politics and many other topics. What I’ve always found remarkable about him is that he can seem very laid-back at first, but then opens his mouth and he sounds like a poet. So well articulated. He is the most consequent and straightforward person I know, and that in a country like Germany means a lot. When you describe Raphi you have to mention one thing. He was the instigator of the craziest ideas- the spark behind many of the wildest experiences and adventures I’ve ever had. Not going too much into details here, maybe at his wedding - ha. I’m very lucky to have him by my side in life and on this special day.
