We met when Halie (aka. Kat von Dv8er) was in roller derby and Mike was first introduced to the fun world of this sport in September of 2012. Eventually, Mike began running security for the derby bouts, which created a lasting friendship between the two. Many years later, after this well sustained friendship, they realized there was more to it. After 11 years of commitment, Mike finally worked up the courage in June of 2023 to take next step. Mike became a doggy Dad and Halie became a bunny Momma. On June 30th of 2024 she said, "YES!" Now the adventures continue...
