How we met!

A corona love story!

Max and Halie met a few weeks before the Covid 19 pandemic took over the world and forced everyone to make crazy decisions and stay inside forever... Halie lived alone, with the love of her life Lily, the sweetest baby dog in the world, when max showed up on her porch. Max drove from Jersey to Long Island to meet Halie after facetiming her everyday for a week! She immediatly thought that he was so sweet, cute, and kind. They went out to lunch and Max grabbed her hand and hasnt let go since! When Max started working from home he had to decide if he would stay in Jersey or come to Long Island indefinetly so that he stayed safe from Corona but also kept Halie safe. (he wouldnt let her go anywhere witout a mask) Max chose to move all of his things, clothes, shoes, arizona ice teas, poweraids, etc into Halie’s tiny studio apattment where they would stay for the next few weeks. On Passover, Max met Halies parents from the balcony of their apartment, he brought them their passover dinner from Katz, it took 45 minutes to get into the city, it was so creepy that everyrhing was closed. The next day they decided to pack up the car (max overpacked the car) and Halie, Max and Lily drove to florida.... They eventually made it to florida, the sunniest, happiest place, lily played outside, Halie was in the pool everyday, Max worked form somewhere, until Leslie and Jerry told them they had to come back to real life... which was not really real life because everything in New York was still closed. On the way home they picked up Nala, their newest edition, kind of crazy black/white, four legged, morkie! Halie and Lily then packed up and moved to New Jersey. On Thanksgiving, after Halie had been bothering everyone and not so patiently waiting, Max asked Halie to marry him! He so sweetly tied a bandana on Lily that said, “will you marry my dad?”. Of course she said “yes!” And now they are here, planning a wedding! Stay tuned to see what happens next!

For all the days along the way
