Here is a brief overview of our love story... We met on Hinge at the very beginning of the pandemic, March 2020. There's always a silver lining! :) Because of this, our communication mainly consisted of texting, Facetiming and phone calls, until about a month later when we both felt comfortable meeting in person (after Steven asked Halie to be his girflriend). From that point on, our lives together consisted of antique store visits, oddity festivals, picnics, various beach trips, family excursions, trying new food / restaurants, taking trips (Seattle, Disneyland & Palm Springs) and learning about each other's likes and dreams for the future. Then in January 2022, we took a big step and moved in together to a condo in Vancouver, WA (where Halie had resided for 2 years)! We finally were able to bring our two families together - meaning our fur babies and us ha! Next stop - Marriage! We became engaged on March 4th, 2022! Steven proposed at Cathedral Park in St. Johns (Portland, OR) with a spread of picnic blanket, roses, candles and champagne. His sister Kelsie was hiding in the bushes, ready to snap those memorable photos we wanted so much. It was a magical moment for both of us and one that will forever be in our hearts. After two years of building our relationship, we are so looking forward to making this commitment to each other and having you all there to witness it! See you on October 9th, 2022!
