The wedding is at Burk farms. When you arrive, it will feel like you are in somebody’s driveway. Keep going! The venue is at the end of a one way road, so as long as you go straight you will find it.
We have not reserved a block of room for hotels on the weekend of our wedding, but feel free to pick a hotel from our list of suggested stays, or one not on the list! Our venue is only about 10 miles from downtown, so the drive time to any hotel in Rome will not be terrible.
Kids are allowed, but we want to let you know that they may not have other kids to play with, and that there won’t be any games or anything that is appealing to kids at the wedding. Please keep in mind that there will be music and activities you may not want your kids around. If that’s the case, or you are concerned about them being bored, please do not bring them. While they are welcome and dearly loved, we are not going to hold back, and we don’t want you to hold back either. Please include them in the RSVP list if you plan to bring them along. Thank you!
Yes, but we will only be providing so much. If you have something special you want to bring, feel free to do so! Just give it to our bartender with your name and they can handle the rest. Furthermore, the venue prohibits liquor, so please do not bring any. Beer and wine are fine!
We will be having barbecue at the wedding, meaning the meat is going to be pulled pork. Please let us know by August 15th if you have any dietary restrictions, so we can try to accommodate those. Please know we want you to feel welcomed at the wedding, but we are working against a timeline, which is why we need to know so soon. Thank you
Wear whatever you would like, as long as it’s not white! We do not care about the clothes, only the company. Our colors are going to be maroon, peach, and champagne, if you would like to follow the wedding color scheme.
