What is the dress code for the various wedding events?

Answer

Friday Happy Hour: We recommend something polished but comfortable. Think what you might wear to garden party or a nice brunch. Saturday Camp Activities: We recommend packing athletic clothes that you can wear to hike, kayak, or play pickleball or tennis in. Saturday Wedding Ceremony & Reception: Please refer to our wedding dress code page that gives more details and inspiration on what we are calling "funky formal" Sunday Brunch: Anything you are comfortable traveling in!

I have a food allergy or dietary requirement, can it be accommodated?

Answer

Our entire wedding will be gluten free and we will have vegetarian options. If you have any additional allergies or food restrictions, please indicate when you RSVP.

Are plus ones or children welcome?

Answer

We cannot accommodate additional plus-ones or children to our wedding as we'd like to keep the guest list small. The name of every guest invited to attend is listed on your invitation.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! Kanuga offers free parking. If you’re staying on-site, you can easily walk to the ceremony and reception locations from your room at the inn or cottages. We’ll also have a golf cart available to shuttle guests throughout the weekend.

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

Answer

Typically this time of year you will see mild, pleasant autumn weather with cool mornings and warm, sunny days. Average daily temperatures range from highs around 71°F to lows of 48°F.
