What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP through our Zola Website by January 8th 2025. If we have not received a response by that date, we will assume you are unable to join us for the evening.

Will the ceremony and reception be Kid Friendly?

Answer

Yes, we are excited to celebrate the whole family! We ask that parents keep an especially close eye on their kids to ensure their safety. Please keep in mind there will be loud music and alcohol present. There will be an option for families to cool down inside the venue, as well as a playground in close proximity to The Lodge.

Am I allowed to take photos during the Ceremony?

Answer

We are requesting our Ceremony be unplugged. We have a wonderful professional photographer and videographer who will capture every moment, and we’ll make sure you see those photos and video as soon as we do! Please give your mobile devices and cameras a rest during our Ceremony. Thank you!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors with the cocktail hour held indoors on the first floor of The Lodge.

Will there be an indoor space with A/C available?

Answer

Yes, the first floor of The Lodge is available to us throughout the duration of the ceremony and reception. The restrooms are located in The Lodge as well.

Will there be a reserved block of rooms at a hotel?

Answer

We have a block of rooms reserved at Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge. This hotel is only a 5 minute drive from the venue. Please visit the "Travel" section of our website to access the link to our hotel block.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

No, there unfortunately will not be a hotel shuttle to and from the venue. Please plan to use ride shares such as Uber or Lyft to get to and from the hotel and venue.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

There is plenty of free, public parking at Katherine Legge Memorial, though we recommend using a ride-share such as Uber or Lyft.

Which airport is best to fly into?

Answer

Midway International Airport is the closest airport to our venue and hotel. O'Hare International Airport is the next closest airport. We recommend flying through Midway.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress for women and a suit and tie for men.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we have a registry set up through Zola that will be delivered to our home address. A gift table with a wedding card box will be at our cocktail hour/reception.

Are there any colors you’d prefer me to wear?

Answer

Included in each invitation is a sample of our color palette. We ask you to join us in our celebration by wearing one of those colors.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We will be serving a BBQ Buffet with vegan and gluten free options available.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing a limited hosted bar for cocktail hour.
