There are many great public beaches including: Gooch's, Parson's, Goose Rocks & Colony Beach. Ask your hotel about parking passes or rent bikes from Coastal Maine Kayak & Bike.

Rent kayaks from the Kennebunkport Marina and head up the river!

Boat

Take a tour on one of the many sailboats, lobstering & fishing excursions! Some options include: Rugosa Lobster Tours, Pineapple Ketch, Schooner Eleanor, First Chance Whale Watch

Golf

Webhannet Golf Club and Cape Arundel Golf Club are both semi-private clubs that accept non-member bookings at certain times. Hillcrest Golf is another option with a public driving range and par 3 Pitch and Putt.

Shopping

Dock Square has lots of cute little stores, art galleries and gift shops.

Our favorite places to grab a bite: - Mabel's or the Clam Shack for a lobster roll. Nunan's Lobster Hut for a classic lobster meal. - Batson River Brewing & Distilling for a drink and a burger on the porch - Wandby Landing for great Italian - The Boathouse for seafood and a view - Earth at Hidden Pond for incredible farm-to-table fine dining (~10 min drive from town). Book ahead! - Casa Seventy Seven, Ultramar or Lost Fire in Cape Porpoise (~10 min drive from town) - Magnus on Water for the best cocktails and creative food (~15 min drive from town) - Cape Porpoise Kitchen or Bennett's for sandwiches - KPort Bagel, Fia Fia, Old Salt's Pantry, Coffee Roasters, or Mornings in Paris for breakfast and coffee, or make the drive to Boulangerie in downtown Kennebunk for the best pastries around - Pinsa or Roma for pizza takeout - Pilot House for classic bar, bar food, and live music
