FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

May 24th, 2026. The invitations will have two options per your preference for how to provide rsvp notice, one being a rsvp card that you mail back to us, or two being a QR code to scan with your phone to rsvp online.

Question

What happens if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We're working with a firm headcount for our caterer and vendors, so unfortunately, if we don't receive your RSVP by the deadline, we'll have to assume you won't be attending. We appreciate your understanding as we finalize all the details!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you are a couple, we will assume you will attend together. If single, yes, you can still have a plus 1. More specifically, each couple, married couple or single person will receive one invitation. 2 seats are reserved for you, meaning a couple cannot have additional guests nor can a single person have more than one plus 1(adults only)

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only wedding. Us and our venue simply cannot accommodate all the additional children. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night! As mentioned in the previous FAQ, only 2 seats are reserved for you, meaning a couple cannot have additional guests nor can a single person have more than one plus 1(adults only).

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

The online registry is the Zola hosted website here. There is a tab for the registry with gifts and cash funds(If you prefer to not provide any cash gifts via online registry here, please feel free to gift physical cash or check in envelope if you are more comfortable that way). Note: If you gift in the form of a check, please make it out to Haley Mitroff or Joseph Morris.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:30pm. This gives some time before the 4pm start time of the ceremony. We will likely not admit anyone into the ceremony space who shows up at 4pm or after

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden Party Formal (see wedding guest attire inspo page for photo examples) Our dress code is garden party formal—elegant and refined with a touch of summer romance. We invite guests to embrace polished silhouettes enhanced by whimsical, garden-inspired details. For women, floor-length gowns, midi dresses, or elevated cocktail attire are ideal, featuring elements such as floral or botanical patterns, graceful movement, or textured fabrics. For men, suits or tailored dress pants with a jacket and tie are encouraged, with classic styling complemented by subtle seasonal charm. Deep, rich tones, soft pastels, and timeless neutrals(black suits welcome) all suit the mood beautifully. We ask kindly that you wear nothing casual, such as sneakers, jeans, shorts, flip flops, etc. And please no all white attire. And as a reference, if you don’t want to match the bridal party too closely, the bridesmaids will be wearing a warm lightish green. But totally fine if you do!

Question

What style will dinner be?

Answer

Dinner will be buffet style, so no need to provide any food selections. You will pick your food at dinner. Please just ensure you note any dietary restrictions, if needed, on the rsvp.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please do so when you RSVP

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. There is a parking lot and accessible parking spaces next to the venue, with a very short walk to the venue. If you need to get dropped off right in front, you can briefly pull into the roundabout in front of the venue, but that area will be used for photography most likely and any vendor drop offs or needs. Please ensure you do not park right in front of venue.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

No, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony and invite guests to be fully present. We will have a professional photographer, Brooklyn, and a videographer, McKaylee, so please refrain from using phones, cameras, or any recording devices until after the ceremony is done. And please ensure any devices are muted to avoid disruption. We promise to share the professional photos and video afterward! But after the ceremony, feel free to take photos and video if you’d like. We will still have our photographer and videographer all night though.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Assorted liquor, cocktails, beer, and wine, are all on us! Please drink responsibly.

Question

Is it an outdoor wedding?

Answer

Yes. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors. The ceremony will be in the rose garden area(unless it’s raining) and the reception will be on the back terrace with an overhang(shaded). Cocktail hour may be inside, but no final decisions have been made yet. The inside will be available to relax/hangout throughout the night.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We would suggest the Courtyard by Marriott Cleveland Willoughby, Holiday Inn Cleveland Northeast - Mentor, or Best Western Plus Mentor-Cleveland Northeast

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

For any questions or concerns, please feel free to text Joey at 440-853-3084 or text Haley at 440-665-7882. But please refrain from contacting us the morning of the wedding. We will likely not have our phones. We will have a day of coordinator and others to assist upon arrival and answer any questions throughout the night.
