You make it Easy

On this day, Luke Haynes asked me to become his girlfriend at the Cheesecake Factory. From the moment we met we knew we hadn't met anyone else like each other. It was something about his goofiness and my wittiness that drew us closer and closer together. We had gone to the Predators game one night and went to the Stage afterwards (a bar downtown). We were looking off of the rooftop into all of downtown, and at that moment we both stated we loved each other. After that things had moved faster than others. I had found out I got accepted into Nursing School and ran into a speed bump. It was either move and hour away from Luke or move in with Luke and hour away from my family and school. I called my mom and dad and asked them what they thought of me moving in with him. They both said "If he is the one then Morgan we say go for it." He had asked his parents as well and they said "As long as you are happy we support you." So we moved in with each other.

The Engagement

July 13, 2019

Here it is, we are almost at being together for two years. Well, one day I was scrolling on Facebook and found this woman Rachel Permetti who was doing mini sunflower field photo sessions. It was really cheap compared to other people I had looked at in the past for pictures. I had been wanting some professional pictures of Luke and I to hang up in our new apartment. Nothing against our wild west photos, but I wanted pictures that when someone walked in and saw them they knew we were in love. I had already told Luke to not plan anything for this day, because I really wanted to do this and do this for him. I didn't want him having to do anything but look nice and show up. I got the slot, picked out our outfits, and we were patiently waiting for this day to come. We were a week from the session and Luke was like I have to go pick up your birthday present (because my birthday was only two weeks away so it was the perfect excuse) on Thursday. So Thursday comes around and I was like why are you being so sketchy are you meeting someone from the Facebook Market? Like why is there an appointment. The next day my mom and sister came up to hangout by the pool with me. Mom said "Lets god get our nails done it's about to rain." I didn't think anything about it. That night he had asked me who was doing our photos because I thought he thought he would know her when all along he was going to call her the next day to set it up. I had to work that Saturday so I knew I need to rush home in order to be dressed and ready by 6:45 to get to the shoot at 7:00p.m. I am running around not even really thinking he was going to propose. All week people said oh he is going to propose but I was sure he wasn't because this was MY idea. She had me stand five feet in front of him and she had whispered something to him before I could even process what was going he was walking around holding a ring and in tears and lost for words. He said "I don't see my future without you in it." Will you marry me?
