What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the ceremony to give yourself enough time to find a seat.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will both be held at The Abbott. There is private parking right across the street from the venue. Address: 529 E 19th Street, Kansas City, MO 64108

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We ask that you wear formal attire. This will be a vibrant summer wedding and would love to see you dress up with us! We suggest that men’s formal attire includes a suit, jacket and tie, or tux. For women we suggest colorful tea length, floor length, or midi dresses. Please no sneakers or jeans.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
To keep our wedding intimate, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. Please refer to your online “rsvp” for the number of guests reserved under your party. Plus one’s are indicated clearly. Thank you for understanding!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Yes! We have various room blocks all less than a mile from The Abbott and within walking distance. Please see the ‘Travel’ section here on our website for more details!

Are kids welcome at the wedding?
Answer
Although we love your kids, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We hope that you’ll take this opportunity to enjoy a date night out and we appreciate you making prior arrangements!
