Second Line Parade

Join us as we parade through the French Quarter with a brass band! Our Second Line will start at the church and end at the reception venue, Broussard's! This is something that can't be missed! The Second Line has a deep, rich history in New Orleans. When performed during weddings, it signifies the beginning of a new life for the bride and groom. A Second Line has two parts. The "First Line" is the bride, groom, and band. Everyone else who joins the parade is referred to as the "Second Line." They follow behind the band and couple, dancing and strutting to the music while waiving white napkins!
