Flight
It would be preferable to fly into Marrakesh (RAK). However, Casablanca (CMN) will also have many flight options from the USA. It is about 2.5/3 hours north, and you can take a car or train to Marrakesh. We are happy to help connect you with a trusted driver!
Travel Note
Shuttle service will be provided to and from all scheduled wedding events, including the Bachelor & Bachelorette celebrations, Desert Day, Welcome Party, and Wedding. For airport transfers and personal excursions during your stay, we are happy to assist with coordinating trusted local drivers. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you would like recommendations or arrangements made in advance. Uber is available in Marrakesh, though many guests find coordinating a local driver to be more cost-effective and convenient.
Travel Note
Because traditional wedding room blocks aren’t common in Marrakesh, we’re giving guests the freedom to choose the kind of stay that feels best for them—either a traditional riad in the old city or a modern hotel closer to our wedding villa. Riads A traditional riad is a historic Moroccan home built around a central courtyard, often with beautiful tilework, carved plaster, and a rooftop terrace. Riads are usually intimate (just a handful of rooms) and feel more like a private house than a hotel. If you’d like to stay in the old city, we recommend choosing a riad within walking distance of Jemaa el-Fnaa, which keeps you close to the souks, cafes, and many major sights. Tip for guests: When searching your dates (May 20–25), use filters like “Medina” or “near Jemaa el-Fnaa” and look for properties labeled as “riad” with at least 4★ or “exceptional”/“wonderful” guest ratings. Hotels If you prefer a larger property with multiple pools, on-site restaurants, and easy car access, we recommend staying closer to Boulevard Mohammed VI, which keeps you nearer to our wedding villa on Route de l’Ourika and makes transportation to events more straightforward. Tip for guests: When you search hotels, plug in May 20–25 and select the Hivernage / Avenue Mohammed VI / Agdal areas to stay closer to the villa on Route de l’Ourika.
