Once upon a very weird time… the beginning of Covid, when everyone was baking banana bread and panic-buying toilet paper, two strangers matched on Tinder. He opened with a cheesy pick-up line, yet somehow it worked. She laughed, he scored an automatic yes, and the rest is history. With the world on lockdown, their epic first date took place in her college house, where they bonded over their shared love of sports, travel, and getting outside whenever possible. One conversation turned into many, and before long, they became each other’s favorite adventure. Fast-forward almost six years: They’ve explored 7 national parks and counting, numerous state parks, climbed more rocks than they can remember (on purpose!), adopted their mischievous little cat Loki, and become full-on, ride-or-die New Jersey Devils fans, screaming at the TV, losing their voices at games, and loving every second. From a cheesy pickup line to a lifetime of adventures, they’re still laughing, still exploring, and still choosing each other every day.
