The dress code for our event is fall dressy casual. But the most important thing to us is that people are comfortable and are dressed to have a good time!
We will be serving heavy hors-d’oeuvres with limited gluten free and vegan options available. We will also be serving drinks (non-alcoholic beverages, wine, beer, cocktails, mocktails, and coffee).
Our venue, Lumi, is located on the second floor of The Battery. It is on the corner of 2nd Avenue South and 22nd Street South. Lumi has a small parking lot, but plenty of street parking is also available. Birmingham’s street parking is free on the weekends. The venue is in a safe area if you have to park a block away and walk! You will enter the venue from the side of the building with the parking lot. We will have signs directing you upstairs! Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate additional guests and children that have not been explicitly included on your invitation. Our venue, Lumi, is small so our space is very limited. Thank you for understanding! If you would like an additional guest, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us! We will do our very best to accommodate.
We appreciate our guests not smoking during the event. We have many family members and friends with severe migraines that can be triggered by cigarette smoke. Thank you for helping us make sure our guests stay migraine free on our wedding day!
