Walker and I met back in 8th grade. Walker had the biggest crush on me and after many tries, I finally gave him a chance. We dated for one weekend until I broke up with him at the elementary school playground. We continued to be friends and soon became best friends. After many months of hanging out at the bowling alley and him begging me to join the bowling team, we developed a connection. I will always say that if it wasn't for Maysville All Star Lanes and him convincing me to join the bowling team, that we wouldn't be together. It was during my family's New Years Eve party that Walker finally got the courage to kiss me.
We were in our favorite vacation spot, Destin, Florida with my family and family friends. I had suspicion that Walker was going to propose during this vacation, so he worked with the girls that were going on vacation to try to plan a way to propose that I wouldn't see coming. Hince him proposing on the first night. We all were going to watch the sunset on the beach. I was taking pictures of my cousin, Bailey and her fiance when I turned around to see Walker down on his knee. He definitely accomplished the surprise because I was shocked. I didn't even have to say yes because he already knew that I had waited from the day I met him to one day marry him.
