How and when should I RSVP?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are semi-formal. Prepare for dancing! Our soirée on Friday night is garden party-inspired.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Homewood Friends by or before 4:30pm. The ceremony will start at 4:40pm.

Can kids come?

Answer

For the ceremony and reception on May 16, please leave kids at home. Kids are welcome to attend the soiree on May 16.

Where should I park?

Answer

Spring soiree: Free street parking in the Bolton Hill neighborhood. Ceremony: Free and paid street parking on Charles St. Reception: Free and paid street parking on Sulgrave, Newbury, and Smith. Paid parking in Baltimore Clayworks lot. Consider ride share if parallel parking isn't your favorite!

Are the locations accessible?

Answer

Haley and Vlad's house has five steps, with a handrail. Homewood Friends has three stairs, a landing and another four stairs, with a handrail. Mount Washington Tavern has an accessible entrance on the Sulgrave Ave side of the building. Once you enter, an elevator is available to access the second flood.

What is the food and drink situation?

Answer

The spring soiree will include drinks and light snacks. The reception dinner will be buffet style with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. We will have an open bar with a selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. If you require other dietary accommodations, please note these in your RSVP.

Question

Can I take pictures? What about social media?

Answer

We ask guests to refrain from photography during the ceremony. Please feel free to take pictures at the soiree and reception (and send us the good ones!). Please feel free to post pictures of yourself to social media. We ask that guests refrain from posting pictures of us on social media.
