Officiant
Ordained by the Universal Life Church, picking MK to be our officiant was an obvious choice. MK and Varun have been close friends for nearly 10 years and when MK and Haley met it was instantly clear their chaotic energy matched and lifted the other. MK is a deeply funny and caring friend of Varun’s and Haley’s. They are honored to have her officiate their wedding and honored it’ll be her first wedding she’s officiating!
Best Man
Woof wooof woof! Note from Haley & Varun: Sully will be at home in Seattle during the wedding so he will sadly not be in attendance.
Matron of Honor
I have known Haley since I was 3 years old and, luckily for her, she has known me since she was born. Being a big sister to "Hay Bay '' has been one of the biggest joys in my life. I am thrilled to be a part of her big day and I can't wait to see what this new chapter brings to her, Varun, and of course Sully and Furrdinand. I look forward to ugly crying on their big day. Love, "Dane".
Bridesmaid
Childhood best friend of the bride for 17 years, Kelli is living her dream life in the Pacific Northwest with the loves of her life; her partner and birthday soulmate Justin, her fur baby Daisy and her sister from another mister Haley. During the week she works at Nintendo of America and spends her free time going to the beach, hiking the beauty of Seattle, bouldering and playing pickleball and board games with Haley and Varun.

Years ago, Haley went on a tinder date hoping to find someone special. And she did! It just wasn’t the guy she went out with. Sparks may not have flown on her date, but when he introduced her to his childhood friend, Karlie, it was love at first sight. Whether they’re relaxing in the Collins’s pool, eating away a college hangover at Bob Evans, or trying (and failing) to surf in Costa Rica, these two are always having a good time if they’re together. Karlie lives in Indianapolis with her boyfriend, cat, and two golden retrievers. She cannot wait to celebrate Haley and Varun on their big day!
Bridesman
Jason is the most amazing guy in Haley's life...after Furrdy (a cat), Sully (a dog), and Varuny (a man), of course. Haley was incredibly fortunate to meet Jason in 2015 as a new colleague at McGraw Hill, where he physically felt her side-eye size-up vibes as she internally thought, who is this tall drink of water, why is he on my team, and when are we going to be work besties?! Fast-forward a day later and work besties were born! But to Jason's ambivalence, Haley wanted to take their friendship to the next level outside of work, and as a commanding Gemini, she got what she wanted...surprised?! From hipster brunches, to summer kick-ball leagues, from random pub crawls, to late night dance fests, and all the way up 11,000 feet for skydiving in some random place in Ohio, their friendship has blossomed ever since. Jason is totes excited for Haley and Varun's next life adventure together and is thrilled to be part of the celebration. Cheers!

Taylor has known Varun since their first year at Ohio State living in Lincoln Tower, but they really became friends when Taylor's partner Zach happened to still hang out with him years after college. But the true friendship we're really here to talk about is between Haley and Taylor, a true love story. Haley and Taylor met when Varun brought her to a cookout to meet his friend group…and it was love at first cornhole toss. From a conversation that dove deeeeeep in just a few minutes, they became fast friends through their shared love of competition, their pets, the outdoors, and being baddies with MBAs. Since that fateful day, Haley and Taylor have gotten ever closer, even while living three time zones apart. Haley has helped Taylor grow in how she approaches relationships because of their honest communication and boundary setting. Haley has made Taylor's life richer and Taylor is so grateful be a part of the celebration of two of her closest friends and favorite people.

I’m Gracie, and it's an honor to be one of Haley's bridesmaids. Originally from New York, I met Haley through work shortly after moving to Columbus in 2019. Our connection was instant, and we knew right away that our friendship was special. (I’m also another Aquarius she’s added to her entourage.) I can't wait to celebrate alongside Haley, Varun, and their loved ones; it’s going to be an amazing wedding weekend. Cheers to the happy couple! 🥂
Groomsman
Varun and I met the first week of our freshman year of college. We became friends through a shared love of staying up too late, playing games together, and consuming junk food in quantities that are unfathomable now as we exit our twenties. Varun is beloved by the whole Oursler family; has attended family Thanksgiving and was present on the first date with my now wife. 11 years later we remain close friends despite having settled on opposite coasts and I am so excited to celebrate his wedding to someone as wonderful as Haley.

Varun and Kevin met so long ago that memory hardly serves as a reliable record- somewhere around 20 years ago in the 4th or 5th grade. Throughout grade school and the rest of their time at Stow High they built a friendship that would stand the test of time. Bonding over classes, Guise park basketball games, marching band, video games, and late-night heart to hearts their friendship began it's rich and storied history. Then, as incoming students at the Ohio State University a twist of fate made sure that those foundations would be built upon even further when Varun and Kevin ended up on the same floor of the same dorm room. This close proximity strengthened their lifetime bonds even further as they helped each other adjust into adulthood- creating many great life experiences and cherished memories of times spent with friends.
Groomsman
Varun and Kyle met his first day of college at OSU and lived together for three memorable years. They share a lot of interests in video games, board games, music, and trivia. Kyle had a chance to visit some of Varun’s family in India, and Varun officiated Kyle’s wedding.
Groomsman
I met Varun in college and we quickly became good friends as we were both degenerate night owls who would regularly stay up way too late playing DC Comics Deck-Building Card Game. We would go on to host Trivioki (a combination of trivia and karaoke) together for a local dive bar and even though we made no money since our bar tabs would be more than our paychecks, it was an absolute blast and one of my favorite college memories!
Groomsman
Justin has been best friends with Varun since they met on their first day at Ohio State. The two bonded quickly over their love of music, games and sports and have lived together with various college friends four times over the years. Justin met his partner Kelli through Varun as she is Haley's best friend. He recently moved to Seattle where all four regularly get together to play board games, and more recently, pickleball.

When I met Varun, he was yelling at me to shut up during trivioke at Ruby Tuesdays. Then he probably realized how smart I was because of the amount of answers I could get correct and became my friend. We then started a wildly successful podcast with friends. Next, we almost took a boxing class together before getting intimidated by the women and children also taking the class. We also nearly wrote the next best show on television, but we’re still working on it so stay tuned. Now he is getting married to Haley and I believe that’ll be his most successful endeavor yet.
