Maid of Honor
Ellena and I met our sophomore year of High school in 2014. We sat next to each other in Mr. Baskin's Agriculture class and ever since that day we have practically been sisters. After being inseparable for all these years, there was no doubt that she had to be my maid of honor.
Best Man
Josh and I met when we went fishing with some mutual friends at the beginning of our freshman year of college. None of us caught any fish and that was the last time I fished for fun. Whether those things are related I have yet to determine but one thing I do know is that Josh was the first real friend I met in college and without him, my four years at TAMUG would have been significantly less eventful.
Bridesmaid
Amber was my very first roommate when I started at Texas A&M University Galveston in 2016. Instantly I found the most compassionate, funny, and inspiring individual I have ever met. Over the years she has been a wonderful friend during the most joyous moments and hardest times. I am so excited to have her stand next to me on a special day.
Best Man
I met Alonso when we were attending a college course at SeaWorld and we bonded through our mutual appreciation of cars, dry humor, and Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved”. Over the years Alonso became a friend of Haley’s to the point that I had to fight for him to stand on my side during the wedding. I’m still not convinced he wouldn’t rather be wearing an ankle-length champagne dress standing next to Haley on the big day though.
Bridesmaid
I met Autumn at SeaWorld Camp in 2017. We shared a passion for marine life and rescue, from then on we started taking all of our undergraduate classes together. We became each other's rock during the stress of classes and I can honestly say I don't know how I would have graduated without her by my side. From expressing our passion for conservation, dancing the night away at Buckshot Saloon, to our late-night conversations, I am so glad to have Autumn by my side.
Groomsman
I met Mitch through Josh. My first encounter with Mitch was when he walked into Josh’s and my dorm after Josh left for class, crawled into Josh’s bed, and proceeded to snore louder than anyone I have ever heard except Alonso. So naturally, the following semester when Josh and I were thinking about who to room with the following year we could think of no better person than Mitch and his hyper-inflated sinus.
Bridesmaid
I met Brenda my first semester of graduate school at UH. Brenda, Priscilla, and I were paired up to complete a business proposal for one of the most stressful classes we have taken to this day! She has only been in my life for a short amount of time but she has truly become someone so dear to me. I am so blessed to have met someone so kind, passionate, and full of life as Brenda.
Groomsman
Donny is Mitch’s twin brother who I met right after agreeing to room with him and Mitch for a year. We bonded through our mutual appreciation of online space strategy games and our hatred of Mitch’s snoring.
Bridesmaid
After meeting in Dr. Waight's class, I truly feel that we have been placed in each other's life for a reason. Priscilla has been a light of positivity and brightens up any room she walks into. Even though most of our interactions have been online, the few times that we have gone out have been unforgettable and full of laughs. I don't know how we would have been in through these hard classes without each other to lean on. I am so happy to have her stand by my side on this celebratory day!
Groomswoman
I met Devan with I was a young boy and my mother claimed to have birthed her. We bonded through our mutual appreciation of having almost no similar interests, shared trauma, and hatred of our dad’s snoring. Even though I can safely say neither of us has anyone that annoys us more, I wouldn’t want anyone else to call my sister. I can also say with almost 100% certainty that she will be my second tallest grooms(wo)man.
