What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If you are driving yourself, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the ceremony starts to allow time for seating and to ensure you don’t miss any special moments.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, our dress code is Semi Formal. Our theme is Wildflowers, so we encourage colour! Since this is an outdoor wedding, we recommend that ladies be mindful of their footwear. If you plan to wear heels, opt for a wider or block-style heel, as you will be walking on grass and gravel.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We would love to accommodate everyone, but due to venue capacity, we are only able to include those listed on your invitation.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle will depart from the Fairmont Chateau Laurier at 3:15 PM. Return service from the venue will be available at 11:50 PM, dropping guests off at the same location. We kindly ask you to, please confirm if the shuttle service will be required on your RSVP so we know numbers.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at Adelina Barn. However, there is limited availability. If you are driving we encourage you to carpool with others, or take the shuttle bus offered.

How far is the venue from Ottawa's downtown core? Is Uber available?

Answer

Adelina Barn is approximately 15-20 minutes away from downtown Ottawa. Uber does accommodate trips to and from the venue.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar serving beer, wine, and cocktails!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We have chosen not to create a traditional registry as we are prioritizing experiences and future plans. If you’d like to contribute, a monetary gift would be greatly appreciated.
