How We Met

From “Hi” to “Mac & Cheese?”

“It started with a “Hello” message online. Then we decided to go out to eat! Our first date was at Mooney’s Bar & Grill. I didn’t know which was better: my date or the Mac & Cheese. Turns out it was both…you know what they say, the way to a woman’s heart is mac and cheese!” - Haley

Will You Be My Girlfriend?

Halloween 2016

“After the first date I knew I was dealing with someone special, and it didn’t take long for me to know she was the one. Looking for any excuse to take things to the next level, I was asked to attend a Halloween party and decided this was my chance. Instead of just asking her to join me to the party, I told her it was a couples party (it wasn’t) and the only way she could come with me was if she would be my girlfriend. Luckily she said yes and we attended the party as “Ash and Pikachu”. Now every year we make it a priority to go on an adventure or vacation to celebrate our annivesary, and this year, we have a very special plan for our five year anniversary, getting married! (No really, October 16th is our five year anniversary)” -Tim

The Proposal

Florida and Rose Petals

“We stepped off the plane into the humid Florida air for a simple summer getaway to celebrate graduating nursing school - Or so I thought! When we arrived to the condo, Tim made me wait outside the door. Confused and hot, I waited for him to let me inside. When I stepped through the door I found the most romantic scene ever. Rose petals and candles covered the floor and lead me to the balcony. We stepped outside and little to my knowledge, Tim held a ring in his hand. It was the engagement I had always dreamed of to the best man I know. Funny story: I couldn’t believe that he was actually proposing so I said ‘No’ in disbelief before saying yes to forever with my best friend.” - Haley

The Best Day

October 16th, 2021

They say that rain on your wedding day is good luck and if that is the case we are very lucky! We started the day with a tornado warning and lots of rain. But just like clock work, the down pour turned into a romantic drizzle and completely subsided for our ceremony. We even got to see a rainbow over the lake after we tied the knot. It was the most magical day! We cant wait to celebrate our happily ever after with all of our favorite people at our reception (thanks covid).
