We are getting MARRIED!

Spring of 2014: One of Haley's Co-workers told her that she needed to meet Tanner and was going to convince him to come down and meet Haley. Well, Tanner came in that night and Haley fell for his smile and hoped he was taller than her! While the attraction was instant, a combination of Haley and Tanner both being awkward they became great friends first. Haley told her mom, "I went on a hike with this guy and he is so different, I don't know what it is about him." Tanner would help Haley study for tests and they would go on "hikes". Then Haley headed home for summer back home in California and the two went about their own lives. Finally in August of 2014 Haley was road tripping back to Montana for her final year of school when she received a message from Tanner "A little birdy told me you are coming back" and the two were inseparable ever since!

Haley and Tanner went to Lanai, HI where Haley's dad was living. Haley was wondering if this would be the trip that Tanner popped the question but after 9 days in Hawaii, many hikes, days on the beach and no proposal she thought it wasn't happening. On the last morning her little sister, Kyndall wanted to dress up and go watch the sunrise like they did the year before. The 3 were on the way to the sunrise spot and it was gloomy, overcast and kind of a cold day. Haley mentioned turning around and getting breakfast because it didn't look like it would be a good sunrise, however Kyndall said we should just give it a shot and thank goodness we did! It cleared up once we got there and was the most beautiful sunrise! We took pretty sunrise pictures and then had to go catch a ferry over to Maui to get back home, but Tanner had other plans first. Kyndall wanted to take more selfies and wanted her privacy so the two love birds were chatting about the trip and watching the rest of the sunrise when Tanner took the perfect moment to say "he had one last thing to do" as he got down on one knee and proposed to Haley! Turns out Kyndall wasn't taking selfies and was filming the whole thing! It was the most beautiful moment and one that will be cherished for a life time. After 4 1/2 years the two FINALLY decided to make it official.
