Casual attire: slacks and a button-down for guys, midi/maxi dresses or elegant jumpsuits for ladies. Florals and bright colors welcome. Jackets and ties optional if you’re feeling it. Stay comfortable, have fun, don’t overthink it.
We ask you arrive 15-30 minutes early to find seating and get comfortable before the start of the ceremony (3:30-3:45pm ET). We tend to run late ourselves, so we understand having to tell yourself an earlier time of getting out the door just to be on time!
Due to limited space, we ask only you and those on your invite/rsvp attend this evening! Take this as a date night away from the kids or time with present loved ones. Exceptions are young babies under 12 months old who need their parents. If you have any specific questions, please reach out to us!
Yes! The ceremony is outdoors and the reception is under a covered pavilion. The "rain plan" is to dance, so plan accordingly if you'd like to bring an umbrella or raincoat. We care more for your comfortability than the perfect pictures.
Yes, there is parking not far from the venue and two handicap spots directly behind the pavilion. Guests may be dropped off at the circle loop and cars may be left overnight as long as they are retrieved before 10:00am the day following your event. We ask that cars be left overnight as a last resort, so that we may be respectful of the venue!
We kindly ask (more like beg) you refrain from having phones out during the ceremony. We will have a photographer there to capture the meaningful moments and your presence means the world to us so we want just that - your presence! After the ceremony, please feel free to take pictures as the venue is beautiful and we want you to have memories of the night! We leave you with this liturgy that keeps us grounded in all things tech: Oh Creator, this is what I know is true: no screen can compare to the sun, no device can compete with the lilies of the field, no notifications can replace flesh and blood, and no headline can compete with Your voice.
