We met when I was 17 and Shane was 19. He met me when I was struggling the most in life. I was 17 with a daughter still in high school and working. He looked at me and saw everything that I couldn’t see. When I looked in the mirror and saw a teenager who was exhausted and constantly in survival mode, he looked at me and saw every perfection in me. He swooped in a lifted the weight of the world off of my shoulders. He made life feel not so hard. So there on out we figured life out together. Got our first cars together, our first apartment and now fast forward he has a career in the navy and gave me my dream of being a stay at home mom to our three beautiful children. We built this life from the ground up and I thank god that we have the opportunity to spend the rest of our lives together.
