(1 hour drive) Palm Springs International Airport is the closest major airport to Twentynine Palms and is our top recommendation for most guests. It's just about an hour from the venue, easy to navigate, and has rental car options. As with all airports serving our venue, a rental car is essential — book yours in advance, as desert-area pickups can be limited. No special terrain vehicles needed.

Ontario (ONT)
(2-hour drive) Ontario International Airport is about 2 hours and 13 minutes, depending on traffic. A solid choice if you find a good fare — more airlines and routes than Palm Springs, still much easier than LAX. As with all airports serving our venue, a rental car is essential — book yours in advance, as desert-area pickups can be limited. No special terrain vehicles needed.

Burbank (BUR)
(2.5-hour drive) Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) If you're flying in from the Pacific Northwest or prefer a smaller, easier airport experience, Burbank (BUR) is a great option. It's one of the most stress-free airports in the LA area — easy parking, short security lines, and quick baggage claim. From the airport, it's approximately 150 miles and about 2 and a half hours to Twentynine Palms via the 210 East to the 10 East. Just note that LA traffic can add time, so plan accordingly and check conditions before you leave. Rental cars are available at BUR — book yours in advance. No special terrain vehicles needed.
