Which airport should I fly to?

Answer

We advise all guest to fly into La Aurora International Airport (GUA) located in Guatemala City. Group shuttles will be provided to wedding guests at pre-determined times on Wednesday, January 6th and Thursday, January 7th. Private car services or Uber is also accessible if guests wish to book their own transportation.

While most places accept Visa and Mastercard, Guatemala's currency is the quetzal (GTQ), which is especially useful in local markets, smaller shops, and for tips.

is there any required travel documentation besides a passport?

To make your arrival smooth, Guatemala requires all travelers to complete an online immigration declaration before entering the country. The form is simple and asks for basic travel details and items you may be bringing in.
