Question

When should I fly in and out of Cancun?

Answer

The wedding activities will officially begin on Friday, Oct. 15th and end on Sunday, Oct. 17th. We will have optional activities planned starting Thursday evening for those that decide to arrive early.

Question

Should I bring cash?

Answer

Yes. In Tulum (and most all of Mexico), cash is the most common form of payment. Mexican Pesos and US Dollars are accepted everywhere, however it is recommended to carry smaller money denominations as some local businesses often run out of change. You can bring US Dollars and exchange them at the Cancun Airport or get your bank to order Mexico pesos before your trip. Many businesses in Tulum are starting to accept credit cards, but cash is still the preferred form of payment. NOTE: Uber/Lyft does not operate in Tulum, so local cabs are the main form of transportation and they ONLY accept cash.
