What about COVID?
Answer
We understand that there are a lot of uncertainties right now with COVID-19 and what is going on around our country. If you are uncertain if you and your family should attend based on COVID-19 concerns, we completely understand and respect your decision! We want everyone to feel safe!
Question
Will there be a shuttle?!
Answer
There will be a school bus that will shuttle people back into Lawrence, KS. The shuttle should be taking about 3 trips as the night goes on. Please feel free to utilize this service to return to your hotel and buddy up and/or take a rideshare to the ceremony allowing everyone to enjoy the evening!

Will there be booze?
Answer
Absolutely! Different options ranging from beer, wine and mixed beverages. Please be responsible throughout the night. We will have a shuttle bus that will be going from Chrisman Manor to Mass St in Lawrence to help those heavy handed guests!

What about families and little kids?
Answer
With both of us being from large, extensive families, we know that comes with little ones. Kids are more than welcome to come and join in on the celebration! We plan on having an area that is a little quieter if you need space to unwind. We just ask that you keep an eye on your kids throughout the evening!

What if I have a food allergy or dietary restrictions?
Answer
If that is the case, please reach out to us and let us know! Again, we want everyone to feel comfortable. We plan on having options available to those who are lactose intolerant, gluten free, and nut allergies.

What to wear?
Answer
We’d love to see everyone dressed up and fancy! However, in the end we want you comfortable and are thankful to those making it. Please keep in mind the ceremony will be outside unless it is just too cold or inclement weather. Therefore, please dress appropriately or bring warmer items if needed.
